Delays expected as Round Hill Rd work begins

CONTRACTORS working for Gladstone Regional Council will start work on embankments alongside Round Hill Rd from March 23.

Traffic delays are likely with roadworks expected to take about six to eight weeks, weather permitting.

Works consist of 565m of protective treatment, including concrete and rock batter protection.

They will start at Captain Creek, 13.3km along Round Hill Rd from its intersection with Bundaberg-Miriam Vale Rd.

During the roadworks, motorists are advised to anticipate possible delays of up to 10 minutes duration with exception for emergency service vehicles.
