Thunderbirds set to roll out classic covers at festival

THUNDERBIRDS are go.

That's the message pub rock band Thunderbirds are sending out to Agnes Water and Gladstone this weekend ahead of the Captain Cook 1770 Festival.

Peter Daley, Brad Hooper and Arron Hamilton make up the Rockhampton band.

They play at Agnes Water every year for various events, but this is their first 1770 Festival appearance.

Their classic covers from the '60s to '90s are sure to get the crowd going.
