Roads re-open, woman in hospital after two-vehicle crash
ROADS have been reopened after a crash at Kingfisher St and Dixon Dr, New Auckland on Thursday morning.
A Gladstone Police spokesman said the accident appeared to be a rear-ending incident, with both cars travelling in the same direction when they collided at the intersection.
The 38-year-old female driver of a white Hyundai Excel has been taken to Gladstone Base Hospital for treatment.
She is in a stable condition but is expected to be kept in overnight for observation.
9.20am: Roads have been blocked off to traffic after a two-vehicle crash on Kingfisher St and Dixon Dr, New Auckland at 8.30am today.
Gladstone Police received the call at 8.34am.
Queensland ambulance, police and fire and rescue service officers are all in attendance.
The roads were closed off while officers were extracting a driver from one of the vehicles.
Tow trucks have been called to the scene.
