Road racing and burn-outs in Kingaroy

ON SUNDAY at 12.10pm Kingaroy Police were on patrol in Alford St when they allegedly saw a Holden ute do a burn-out at the intersection of William St.

The ute was being closely followed by another Holden ute.

The vehicles appeared to be racing each other on the Kingaroy streets.

Police followed the vehicles to an Alford St address.

A 19-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 7 charged with racing on a road.

His vehicle was also impounded for 90 days.

The second vehicle was also immobilised for 90 days.

Inquiries are ongoing and Kingaroy Police are working to locate the driver of the second vehicle.
