UPDATE 12.30PM: Drivers in the area of a crash involving four semi-trailers report the highway is now clear, but there is "lots of traffic and a few impatient drivers".

UPDATE 8.34am: One lane of the Bruce Hwy has re-opened following a multi-vehicle crash 22km south of Miriam Vale this morning.

A driver who made it past the crash site said it had been a nose-to-tail incident, with one truck jack knifed. 

EARLIER: Emergency services are currently at the scene of an incident involving four semi-trailers, 22km south of Miriam Vale.

The incident occurred sometime after 6am.

There are reportedly no injuries at this stage.

A section of the Bruce Hwy is closed.
