UPDATE: Roads closed at 4pm this afternoon after the death of a woman on the train tracks at Blain Dr are now expected to be open by 9.30pm. 

EARLIER:

THE death of a woman on the train tracks around 4pm at Blain Dr has brought a cargo train to a halt and closed roads.

The road has been closed at Palm Dr and Blain Dr, and at the Dawson Highway and is not expected to be opened again before 10pm tonight.

Gladstone sergeant Wayne Butcher said the woman's death was not being treated as suspicious and investigations were continuing.

Anyone affected by the incident can call Lifeline on 13 11 14 for 24 hour support.
