Revolt reports investigated by FFA boss Gallop

FOOTBALL: Reports of a player revolt against the hardline approach of Matildas coach Hesterine de Reus (pictured) are being investigated by Football Federation Australia boss David Gallop following the team's 1-0 defeat to Brazil in Brisbane on Sunday.

Australian players have allegedly approached players union Professional Footballers Australia over the Dutch woman's disciplinarian stance and Gallop said the FFA was looking into the allegations.

"We will put a report together as quickly as possible," he said.

"We'll work out how to take it forward from there.

"At the moment we are getting on top of these concerning reports.

"We'll make sure we do a thorough job on that first."

Debora "Debinha" Oliveira scored the only goal in the win for Brazil with the second of two matches between the two sides to take place in Brisbane tomorrow.
