Removing invasive pest is toadally working

WEEK two of the Toadbusters season has delivered equally impressive results as the first.

Toads at Reg Tanner Park on Glenlyon Rd were slightly more elusive than the previous week at Tondoon Botanic Gardens, with 72 toads removed from our local ecosystems.

To date, in only two weeks, 566 toads have been caught, weighing a whopping 30 kilograms.

All Gladstone residents are invited to roll up their sleeves and get "Toadally Wild" at Beaumont Park on November 25 to help increase numbers.
