Register for GAPDL luncheon

GLADSTONE Area Promotion and Development Limited's next luncheon is set to offer the perfect opportunity for business networking.

GAPDL have opened registrations for the August 23 "Business Enterprise Luncheon", to be held at Yaralla Sports Club Gladstone from 11:30am.

The luncheon has attracted Gladstone Foundation board chairman Jim Petrich for the key note speaker.

The Foundation was established in December 2010 to channel voluntary payments from LNG companies, as well as other major companies, to be used for social infrastructure needs in the region.

Mr Petrich will be addressing the delegates on the 'Social Infrastructure and Future Plans of the Gladstone Foundation'.

The event will also feature Yaralla Sports Club Chief Executive Officer Will Schroeder who will deliver progress details.

GAPDL Chief Executive Officer Glenn Churchill said GAPDL Business networking events attract people from all walks of life.

"It will give our GAPDL members and the community an insight into social infrastructure plans and projects to be delivered from what should be Gladstone's most prestigious Foundation," My Churchill said.

"It will be exciting to get a first-hand glimpse into the plans for the opening of another major accommodation and service development within the Gladstone Region. The Mercure Gladstone is one of the many major projects as we witness continued outcomes from GAPDL's Major Project Status Report.

"This business event is also a wonderful opportunity to rub shoulders with other GAPDL members, shakers and movers and ask questions of our speakers to determine and understand what this all means to the Gladstone Region, our community and Central Queensland."

GAPDL Project Officer and Event coordinator Katherine Van Itallie encouraged people to book early.

Registrations are now open, with some keen interest and registrations close on Friday, August 17.

You can register for the luncheon by contacting Katherine Van Itallie on 4972 4000 or by sending an email to Katherine.vanitallie@gapdl.com.au.
