Reader shares act of kindness that touched her heart

A READER has shared an act of kindness she witnessed in Gladstone this week, with a young woman helping a sick, elderly man.

Here's her story:

I WITNESSED the greatest act of kindness that I have ever seen on Wednesday.

A very sick elderly gentleman was struggling with a trolley with his few groceries in it which he had purchased at Woolies in the Valley Shopping Centre.

He was trying to get to the taxi rank for a taxi to take him home when a young lady by the name of Tracey saw him and offered to go to see if there was a taxi available at the rank.

When there was none available she went out of her way to assist this gentleman and proceeded to take him home herself to save him sitting in the sun waiting.

I actually know this gentleman and know how much he appreciated Tracey's help.

What a wonderful lady.
