Rapper beats a path to CQ for new year party
THE beats are his life and without them he says he wouldn't be complete.
Legendary Australian hip-hop artist Seth Sentry is set to perform in the Central Queensland region as part of the 2012 Oxford Street Party.
The party, held in Rockhampton and now in its sixth consecutive year, is positioned to be one of the biggest events to see in the new year.
Seth said he was pumped to be getting back to the CQ region and was looking forward to the party.
"We went out to the Gladstone and Rocky region with Pez four years ago," he said.
"So, looking forward to getting back there and playing some shows."
Seth was exposed to rap at an early age and says music is a huge part of his life.
"It's not even that there's something particular I love about it," he said. "It's a part of me and who I am."
Though the top artist says he struggles keeping hobbies for longer than three months, it is obvious his passion for music has never faded.
He will play tracks from his debut album Float Away at the Oxford Street Party.
"Make sure you come and check out me and my DJ B.Two," he said.
And his final advice to fans: "Wear water-proof clothing."
