Dirt riders spend Easter weekend raising mud at Benaraby

REVHEADS on two wheels celebrated their Easter weekend at the Gladstone District Dirt Riders Club meet.

The two-day event marked the second for the year at the Benaraby track with 70 riders turning up to compete.

Club secretary Julie Maeyke said the six rounds of racing made for an enjoyable weekend for everyone.

"It's been absolutely brilliant," she said. "Some very close racing was had over the weekend with a number of ties."

The next meet in Gladstone is set for June but for now the club is looking forward to their come and try days on April 13 and 14.
