Fiddling with radio ends in crash for car detailer

TRACEY McClure was fiddling with the radio station switch in her purple Nissan when she rear-ended a Mitsubishi Pajero.

McClure, 21, a car detailer, was taken to hospital suffering back pain.

In Gladstone Magistrates Court she pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention on July 22 along Glenlyon Road.

Lawyer Kylie Devney said McClure's Nissan was likely to be a write-off.

Magistrate Penelope Hay said McClure had no history of traffic offences and suffered financial consequences as a result of the crash.

McClure was fined $350.
