Qld public servant charged over alleged $45,000 fraud

A SENIOR Queensland government employee has been charged with fraud following a Crime and Corruption Commission investigation.

The 52-year-old South Brisbane woman is alleged to have made around $45,000 in fraudulent private health insurance claims.

The woman was given bail on Monday and is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 8.
