Queensland man charged over death of child, 3

A 34-YEAR-OLD Kallangur man has been charged with the murder of a three-year-old child north of Brisbane.

Detectives from the Pine Rivers Child Protection and Investigation Unit charged  the man following investigations into the sudden death the three-year-old that occurred at Kallangur on June 17, 2014.

The man man was taken into custody on Tuesday morning and is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court later today

This charge has resulted from ongoing investigations by Pine Rivers Detectives attached to Operation Mike Capel.

The investigation is ongoing and continuing to follow further avenues with respect to this death.
