Put fun back into shopping by attending Style Me Up event

MOST women love fashion, but when it comes to shopping, not all enjoy the experience.

The Style Me Up event aims to put the fun in shopping.

On May 25 from 1pm until 4.30pm, the Gladstone Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) will host Style Me Up at the Gladstone Entertainment and Convention Centre.

Style Me Up will talk to women about their body shape and what clothes best suit each shape.

Outlets on hand will include Limestone Clothing, Phresh, T Leaf Clothing, Alli Lane, Purple Diva Plus, Fantasy Rags, Katies, Exclusively Lealeighs, Modscene and some of the Stockland fashion stores.

Event co-ordinator Lyndal Hansen is excited: "The best thing about the event is that all the fashion outlets attending Style Me Up will be selling their stock on the day."

It is part of the GCCI's Buy Local campaign, with the primary focus on getting women to shop locally.

Tickets are limited and selling fast.

To secure your spot, go to http://www.stylemeup2014.eventbrite.com.au, or phone GCCI on 4978 7800 for details.
