Video: Police say public has had enough of ice users

THE community is fed up with ice users in the Gladstone region and has tipped police off to the location of another drug lab.

A lab in Miriam Vale was found yesterday morning by local police, and a 47-year-old man was arrested as a result.

Gladstone Police Criminal Investigation Branch detective senior sergeant Luke Peachey said police were tipped off by the community.

"Members of the public have had enough," he said.

"They are fed up with ice users and they are coming forward with information."

The lab has been analysed by the Illicit Laboratory Team from Brisbane, who will allege the lab wasn't producing drugs but had been in the past.

The accused man didn't apply for bail in the Gladstone Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

He will appear again on Friday, where police will allege he was the drug cook.
