Pro Bull Riding Live Series on its way to Rockhampton

COLIN Bell might be a major sponsor of the upcoming Pro Bull Riding Live Series in Rockhampton, but he's a major fan as well.

The owner of Bell's Plant Hire has been to several PBR events around the country, even entering some of his bulls in the competition.

"One of our bulls just competed in the PBR Australian Cup Series in Sydney with an American rider on him," Mr Bell said.

The Gracemere business owner says he loves sponsoring the PBR's that come to Rockhampton because it's a worldwide event that is well run.

"We've been to a few PBR's and they are very professionally run and that's because the main man behind it is Troy Dunn who is a world champ and he knows what it takes to run a great event," he said.

Mr Bell has been running Bell's Plant Hire for the past 25 years, starting off small and continuously building up his business.

"We started off with one bobcat and now we employ 50 people," he said.
