Private school students celebrate the end of the year

PRIVATE schools across Gladstone celebrated their last day of school for the year last Friday.

As the holidays begin, the countless organised activities on offer throughout the region should help get your kids off the couch this Christmas break.

With Sunfest just around the corner don't forget to purchase the tickets, which are selling out fast.

Other organised activities will be held at Bunnings Warehouse, Tondoon Botanic Gardens and some libraries.

Next Friday all schools across the region will be completed for the year.

School students have been looking forward to this long Christmas break.

Why not make the most of it and get your kids involved in all that Gladstone has on offer.

Fun things to do these holidays

  • DIY craft activities
  • Go to the beach
  • Play board games
  • A day trip to Agnes Water
