Pre-poll voting for Queensland election starts today

PRE-POLL voting starts today as the countdown continues for this month's State Election.

Pre poll voting opened at 9am today and will run until 6pm on January 30, the night before Election Day.

Voting centres for pre poll voters are held all across the state.

Nominations for candidates have now closed.

There are seven parties running in this election, including the ALP, Greens, Family First, LNP, One Nation, Katter's Australian Party and Palmer United Party.
