Power pole hit by truck on Oaka St


A TRUCK lost its trailer on Oaka St, knocking down a power pole at 12.30pm.

A number of traffic lights in the Gladstone area are not operating and many have been left without power.

Works are being undertaken in the area and there is traffic control at the following intersections:

Bonar St and Pier St

Pier St and Auckland St

Ann St and Coon St

Oaka St and Lyons St

Off Ln and Bonar St

Police are asked to exercise caution in this area and follow directions provided by traffic control.
