Police use forensics to search for armed robber

GLADSTONE Police are following a number of leads in relation to the armed robbery of a Gladstone bottle shop on Saturday night.

Detective sergeant Chris Lindsay said police were using forensic and anecdotal evidence to continue their investigation.

The offence occurred around about 9.30pm at the Chapman Dr business.

The offender police are looking for is described as being 170cm tall with a beard and stained teeth.

He was wearing a black and grey shirt and a balaclava.
