Police searches result in drug charges

A NUMBER of property and vehicle searches have resulted in four men being charged by police.

A 40-year-old man received drug diversion after Stanthorpe police located a quantity of cannabis at a Barton St address.

A search of a man's vehicle intercepted travelling through the Stanthorpe region located cannabis inside the car.

The 44-year-old driver was also placed on drug diversion.

A 39-year-old man was charged with possessing drug utensils after police searched a Brock Ave home, while a second man at the same residence received rug diversion.
