Police release new image of dad missing with daughter

SIX days after a missing north coast father and his four-year-old daughter disappeared, police have released a new picture in the hope someone will recognise the pair.

Greg Hutchings, 35 was last seen with his daughter Eeva Dorendahl on Pottsville Rd, near Tweed Heads about 12.30pm Saturday.

An alert was issued after they failed to turn up to a planned family gathering.

While police have received several calls from members of the public, there have been no confirmed sightings of the pair.

There have been reports Mr Hutchings was concerned Eeva's mother Michelle had planned to take her back to Finland.

His mother's home has been searched on several occasions but she has maintained she has no knowledge of her son's whereabouts.

Detectives from Strike Force Beadle suspect Mr Hutchings may be hiding in the Blue Mountains or in the Mullumbimby area near Byron Bay.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, with short brown curly hair and of a thin build and was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, grey trousers and carrying a black back pack. Eeva has long blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing an oversized blue and white-coloured shirt and multicoloured board shorts.
