Police on hunt for two suspects after Roma assault

A MAN has been the target of a serious assault outside of the Northern Star store in Roma last Thursday.

The 49-year-old man witnessed the two offenders outside the store around 1am on September 1 before he was assaulted by the pair.

A man and a women between the ages of 20-35 years old were suspected to have committed the offence.

The man has been described as of Caucasian appearance and the woman has been described as of Indigenous descent.

Although the Roma police are treating the incidence seriously, the man is said to be uninjured.

Roma Police are currently speaking with witnesses about the incident, but are appealing to the public for further assistance into the assault.
