Police nab four drink drivers, highest 0.196

POLICE were kept busy on the weekend with drunk drivers.

On Friday night at Calliope a 51-year-old manin a Ford sedan was intercepted on Taragoola Rd, Calliope at 6.55pm.

He was unlicensed and allegedly registered a reading of 0.113.

At 11.30pm a Holden Commodore was pulled over on Kariboe St, Biloela.

The 47-year-old man allegedly returned a high-range reading of 0.196.

On Saturday night at 11.55pm a 27-year-old man driving a Nissan Navara was charged on Trochus St, Tannum Sands with an alleged reading of 0.157.

At 12.05am a 41-year-old man allegedly blew 0.150.
