Police looking for vehicle that hit car then drove off

GLADSTONE police are looking for a silver Nissan Patrol that was involved in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday night then left the scene.

The crash happened at the intersection of Wyndham Ave and Centenary Drive, Boyne Island at 7.08pm.

Police said the Nissan Patrol collided with a parked vehicle then drove off.

The parked vehicle was empty and no injuries were reported.

In other police news, a 23-year-old man has been charged with public urination.

The man allegedly urinated in Yarroon St, Gladstone between Central Lane and Goondoon St at 7.30pm on Thursday.

He will appear in court at a later date.
