Do you know these men? Pair attempt to run over police

UPDATE 5.15 PM

MORE images have been released of two men police believe attempted to run over police officers in a Maroochydore car park.

Around 3pm on Thursday police conducting patrols inside a Plaza Parade, Maroochydore shopping centre noticed two men behaving suspiciously.

The men attempted to get into a silver Holden Commodore bearing Qld registration 952TUQ, when police called out to the pair.

When police approached the passenger side of the car to speak to the men the driver allegedly reversed the vehicle causing the officer to have to run with the car to avoid being run over.

The vehicle has then stopped, driven forward towards the officer who jumped out of the way to avoid being hit.

The car sped away from police and was later sighted around 3.30pm on the Bruce Highway heading towards Caboolture.

Police attempted to intercept the vehicle which failed to stop. The car was last seen turning onto the Pumsicestone Road on ramp.

No one was injured as a result of the incidents.

The male driver is described as aged in his mid 20's, with a thin build and dark hair. He was wearing a grey coloured shirt with yellow writing down the left side, black sunglasses with a silver strip, and had a tattoo on the right side of his neck. He was approximately 180cm tall.

The second man is described as being in his early to mid 20's, approximately 175cm tall with very short brown hair and a slim build. He was wearing a white "Lonsdale" muscle type shirt.
