Police charge householder after music isn't turned down

AT least eight people were charged with obstructing police in Gladstone at the weekend.

Most of these occurred in the CBD and two in Oxley Dr, where police asked the occupants of a house to turn down music.

Police returned later as the music's volume had increased.

The householder was charged with disobeying a direction and another occupant with obstructing police.
