Goodna death to go to coroner

POLICE will prepare a report for the coroner following the non-suspicious death of a 71-year-old man at Goodna on Sunday night.

Police attended a Woogaroo St address at 11.25pm to discover the man, who had collapsed and was not breathing.

Attempts by the police and emergency services to revive the man proved unsuccessful and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Initial investigations indicated that the man had been involved in a disturbance while at the residence.

The occupants of the residence assisted police with their investigations.
