Police investigate series of thefts from cars

GLADSTONE police are investigating a number of thefts from motor vehicles.

In the past week, an unknown offender entered two unlocked vehicles in Solonika Court, South Gladstone.

Stolen items include CDs, a silver-coloured Apple iPod Nano, a brown pair of Arnette sunglasses, brown Roxy sunglasses and a Navman GPS.

A vehicle parked out on the street in front of units in Marten Street, South Gladstone also was broken into, and a quantity of coins was stolen.

In Gladstone central, a Shindaiwa T270 whipper snipper was stolen from the back of a ute.
