Police investigate roundabout hit and run

GLADSTONE police are investigating a hit and run car accident that happened on a roundabout on Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened at 2.55pm on the roundabout at the intersection of Callemondah Dr and Dawson Hwy, near Police Creek.

Two vehicles were involved, and a driver was injured.

It's alleged one vehicle hit another vehicle before driving off.

In other police news, a 26-year-old man has been charged with public nuisance after being threatening towards police.

The incident happened in Central Lane at 12.15am on Friday.

The man will face court at a later date.
