SATURDAY, 6am: STEPHANIE Hartmann woke to the sound of a Bunya St home burning down on Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to the Bunya St flat at about 2am.
Ms Hartmann was asleep in a neighbouring property.
"We heard crashing and popping noises, and the dogs were going haywire," she said.
"That's when we walked outside and saw that second flat there going up in flames.
"Definitely not what you want to wake up at 2am to. It was pretty scary stuff."
Firefighters doused the flames and gained entry to the property, which was vacant at the time.
Dalby police are continuing investigations into the cause of the blaze.
The house fire follows a similar incident on Reid St last week.
