Police investigate after dog stolen from yard in Tannum

A DOG has been stolen from a yard in Broadacres Drive, Tannum Sands.

The shih-tzu dog was let out into the yard with another dog between 1.30 and 2pm on Wednesday, but only one dog returned to the house.

The owners told police a car had been heard in the area at the time, and there were no signs of the dog having made an escape.

Gladstone police are investigating.

In other police news, two vehicles collided at the intersection of Goondoon and Tank Sts, Gladstone at 6.40pm on Wednesday.

No injuries were reported. Police are investigating.

Registration plates were stolen from a vehicle in Hansen Cres, Clinton sometime between January and May.

The owner wasn't aware of the theft until the plates were located on another vehicle intercepted by police.
