Police find 'ice' worth more than $20,000 in vehicle

A 30-YEAR-OLD Bakers Ck man is set to appear in court after being charged with supplying and possessing a dangerous drug after evading police.

Police alleged on July 28 a motor vehicle failed to stop for officers on the Bruce Hwy near Mullers Rd.

The vehicle was located abandoned in a cane paddock shortly after, police said. 

Police searched the vehicle and located two ounces of what is suspected the drug 'ice' with a street value in excess of $20,000.

The search resulted in the man being charged by Sarina CIB with supplying and possessing a dangerous drug and possessing utensils.

He is also charged with evading police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, drive whilst disqualified, unregistered, uninsured and attach false plates.

He will appear at the Sarina Magistrates Court on August 24  to have the matters heard.
