Car flips over during two-vehicle crash in Sun Valley

TWO cars were badly damaged and one was turned upside down after a collision on the corner of Waterson Dr and Franmaur St, Sun Valley late Saturday night.

Police said the vehicle on Franmaur St failed to give way to the vehicle on Waterson St, resulting in the crash at 9pm.

In other police news, two vehicles collided on Glen Lyon Rd at 6.30am on Monday. No injuries were reported.

And two motorists were caught drink-driving over the weekend.

The first was at 12.30am on Saturday when a 20-year-old man was intercepted on Dawson Hwy near Cemetery Rd with a BAC of 0.12%.

Another man was intercepted on the Bruce Highway near Benaraby at 7.30am on Sunday.

The 45-year-old returned a BAC reading of 0.06%.
