Police file: Trespass, burglary, crash keep officers busy

POLICE were kept busy over the weekend with various offences taking place.

Here is a list of reported incidents in the Gladstone region:

Drink driver

AN ALLEGED drink-driver was intercepted on Short St by Gladstone police early Monday morning.

At 1.30am on Monday a 47-year-old was found with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.07%.

Trespass charges

TWO men were arrested and charged with trespass at the Rocky Glen Hotel at around 3.30am on Sunday.

The men, aged 26 and 43, allegedly approached the reception area when it was closed.

Home burgled

MONEY, computers, jewellery and a mobile phone were stolen from a Kent St home at the weekend.

The incident took place between sometime on Saturday and 3.30am Sunday morning.

Windows smashed

WINDOWS were smashed at a Centro Shopping Centre business on Saturday night.

Police are seeking information from anyone who saw a car, or a person, near the shopping complex around 10pm.

Benaraby crash

A FORD hatchback lost control and crashed on Benaraby Rd between Gladstone and Benaraby around 2am on Sunday morning.

The male driver escaped without injury.
