Ute allegedly clocked at 130kmh on Bruce Hwy

A WHITE Ford utility allegedly recorded travelling at a speed of 130kmh was intercepted by police at 2.25pm on the Bruce Hwy on Wednesday.

The vehicle was travelling in a southbound direction between the Calliope Crossroads and Benaraby Junction when it was stopped by police.

Speeds were allegedly recorded at more than 30kmh above the 100kmh speed limit.

The driver will appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court to answer a range of charges at a later date.
