Police called to Calliope disturbance find cannabis plants

GLADSTONE Police were called to a disturbance between two residents at a River Ranch Estate address in Calliope at 6pm on Monday night.

Uniformed police who attended discovered what they believed to be a hydroponic set-up.

Detectives were called and as a result of a search carried out, a hydroponic set-up was discovered.

Nine cannabis plants were found, as well as lamps and other equipment.

Detective Senior Sergeant Luke Peachey said no charges had been laid at this stage, but police were speaking to a man in relation to the matter.
