Missing Springbrook woman Mihiata Bruce found safe
UPDATE: The 45-year-old woman reported missing from Springbrook on April 29 has been located safe and well.
The woman made contact with family members last night around 9pm. She was located in West End, Brisbane.
Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.
Police call for help identifying ute in search for Mihiata
INVESTIGATIONS into the disappearance of Mihiata Bruce following a traffic crash on the Gateway Motorway at Belmont on Wednesday, April 29 continue with police releasing an image of a vehicle they wish to identify.
Mihiata Bruce, from Springbrook was last seen getting into a white utility (pictured) after the car she was driving, a silver corolla, crashed into a roadside barrier approximately one kilometre north of the Old Cleveland Road exit at Belmont around 12.10pm.
Police believe the driver of the vehicle could assist with their investigations and are appealing for the driver to contact them.
Investigators are also appealing for any witnesses to the crash of Ms Bruce's car to contact them.
Concerns are held for Ms Bruce's welfare as she has not been heard from or seen since this time which is out of character.
Ms Bruce, 45, is described as approximately 165 centimetres tall with a slim build, brown hair and hazel eyes.
