Please start to listen to the league fans

THERE are thousands of passionate rugby league fans who are finding the current situation caused by those in the bunker testing our loyalty.

In the past, one would be in a hurry to get home or to an outside venue such as your local club or hotel to watch a game of rugby league.

But with what has unfolded since the introduction of the bunker it has certainly tested our passion for this once great game.

Todd Greenberg and his fellow NRL experts are clones of our politicians and <FZ,1,0,8>have virtually the same problem, that being of not listening to the league fans. Just like our politicians who don't listen to the people who put them there.

The NRL are is to blame for what is happening and the code is losing fans at the moment, even on Friday night's final with the Broncos v Titans game (no fault of the Broncos).

I was embarrassed with some of the calls that were made and found myself switching over to the Aussie Rules on another channel for a period of time.

The NRL have has to stop trying to make this game so complicated with all the different interpretations of the rules that have has everyone confused with what is going on.

Many others like me have been supporters of rugby league for decades, but if a fan like myself is viewing a game of Aussie Rules while a major final of rugby league is being played on TV, that is cause for alarm. Lift your game, to Todd Greenberg and the NRL.
