Community Advocate helps celebrate achievements in region

Last week staff at the Tannum Sands supermarket donned period clothing and packed their customers' groceries in paper bags.

Also in your free community newspaper next week, the Gladstone Central Committee on the Ageing will have 36 new units built at the Gladstone Heritage Retirement Village, for residents over the age of 50.

It is a big achievement for the volunteer group, who will have 98 units in the complex by the end of July.

Stockland Gladstone filled the wallets of five community groups recently with their announcement of the recipients of the Stockland Community Grants.
