PHOTOS: Take a look inside Agnes Water's newest cafe

THE smell of coffee and fresh food will waft through the Foodworks complex at Agnes Water, when the centre's first café opens next week.

Café Discovery will open by Saturday.

It is the first coffee shop to open in the new Foodworks complex at Agnes Water.

Owner Leisa Trickett has worked tirelessly to finish the project over the last few months.

With the help of family and friends - her dream of opening a coffee shop is almost true.

Ms Trickett said it would have a "laid back, relaxed" vibe, but with a serious focus on good service and gourmet food.

The café also has a vertical herb garden that customers can pick garnishes from and a bucket list of things to do in Agnes Water.

With a full commercial kitchen and using fresh produce, Ms Trickett hopes to offer quality café food that is a standard above normal takeaway.

"This project has been well and beyond my expectations," she said.

"I'm going to do what I've always dreamed of doing, my life savings are going into this, this café will be my life and I'm hoping this will be long term," she said.
