PHOTOS: Pig the posing Bull Terrier

PIG the Bull Terrier has got plenty of funny habits, but posing for shots has to be the most entertaining.

The three-year-old pure bred has been wriggling into cosy position to pull poses since he was a puppy.

Owner Duncan Reilly said despite Bull Terriers having a reputation as a dangerous dog, Pig, also known as Zeus, "isn't a very good guard dog".

He said first-time visitors to his home were sometimes scared of Pig, running outside and asking if he bites.

But Pig stays put, lazing on the couch unfazed.

"It's all about how you raise them," Mr Reilly said.

"My missus treats him like a little baby. He's a real mummy's boy.

"He'll sit there scratching at the door in the morning until you let him in, and he just wants cuddles."

But Pig does get grumpy.

Mr Reilly said Pig will have a "temper tantrum" when Mr Reilly or his girlfriend doesn't pull out a chair for him at the dinner table.

"He gets the s**ts if you don't pull the chair. He's got to be doing whatever we're doing," he said.

"He'll just sit there and watch us."

But when Pig goes to the beach, he doesn't mind being lathered in sunscreen by Mr Reilly, who said Bull Terriers' pink skin is notorious for developing skin cancer.
