PHOTOS: HookUp committee at store front for registrations

IF you haven't registered for the Boyne Tannum HookUp yet, now is your chance, with the committee set up at Pat's Tackle World today.

Today treasurer Adam Balkin and part coordinator Russell Tomlinson are at the fishing store taking registrations and showing some of this year's prizes.

Pat's Tackle World also has its annual HookUp sale today.

This year the committee opted for online only registration.

"Tomorrow the weather forecast is due so depending on how that goes, we're hoping to get 1000 registrations in this week," he said.

The pair has been at the store since 9am.

"It's the first display of all the prizes too," Mr Balkin said.

The prize pool totals $250,000, including a $90,000 Haines Signature 6.02 boat, which is the top prize.

Also up for grabs is a camper trailer, fishing and boating gear and holidays.

Gladstone Sports Fishing Group is at the store too selling a sausage sizzle and raffle tickets.

There's still time to get involved with registrations closing on April 29 at 3pm.
