Gentle giant mastiff a big hit with energetic boys

JARROD and Ben Lowry couldn't live without their best friend Kuma, a gentle giant English mastiff.

Sharing their love of their pet in The Observer's Me and My Pet section, the boys said Kuma could do a number of tricks, including sit, drop and shake.

Kuma loves swimming and hates getting into the car.

The Lowry family bought the two-year-old dog from a lady in Benaraby.

He sleeps in his bed on the veranda and loves snacking on Schmackos.

Jarrod, 9, and Ben, 2, help look after Kuma by playing with him and walking him.
