Should Gladstone make pet desexing compulsory?

HOW DO you feel about mandatory animal desexing?

Mayor Matt Burnett said the issue is a result of irresponsible breeding of cats and dogs.

"This is an issue that needs to be resolved and while I am yet to be convinced there is need for mandatory animal desexing, it is an option Council has to consider," he said.

"The results of the survey will guide Council's decision on ways to help reduce the high number of unwanted cats and dogs within the region. Take the online survey on the Council website.
