Performance bonus to retain staff

GLADSTONE businesses losing staff to industries offering bigger pay packets are advised to offer a performance-based rewards program to retain workers.

Gladstone accounting firm GTC Financial, which specialises in growing small to medium businesses, advises business owners that offering such a program will not only retain staff but also improve their bottom line.

"Research indicates that Generation Y has high earning expectations and wants rewards based on performance," GTC Financial director Neville Hughes said.

GTC Financial is hosting a number of information sessions to further demonstrate the benefits of a Staff Value Program.

The sessions will be run on February 21, 23 and 28, from 8.30am until 10.30am at the GTC Financial offices at 29 Roseberry St, Gladstone.

Seats are limited. To register, visit http://www.gtcfinancial.com.au or phone 4972 5177.
