Man arrested after spitting on people in club

POLICE were kept busy in Gladstone CBD early Sunday as three people were arrested for public nuisance and a fourth issued with a notice to appear in court.

At 12.30am, a 27-year-old man was escorted from a licensed premises for spitting on patrons.

He was then arrested and charged for offensive behaviour.

Later, a 26-year-old man was arrested and charged with standing in the middle of the street and shouting offensive language at a group of women.

The incident occurred in Gladstone's CBD at 3.45am.
