State Opposition leader Annastacia Palaszczuk visits

A TRIP to Curtis Island and a meeting with the mayor topped off State Opposition leader Annastacia Palaszczuk's visit to Gladstone.

Yesterday Ms Palaszczuk spent time talking to GRC Mayor Gail Sellers to discuss housing and accommodation issues before visiting Curtis Island and meeting with industry professionals.

ALP member for Rockhampton Bill Byrne accompanied Ms Palaszczuk as part of her final leg of the regional listening tour.

She is expected to travel between Gladstone and Townsville in the next few days.

"It is very important for us as the Labor opposition to listen and to learn to make sure we understand the issues that are impacting on regional Queensland," she said.
